Do I need to take the Math Placement Exam (MPE)?

Successfully completing math in your first year is important for your academic performance and success.
It is highly recommended that you study and take the MPE before Ram Orientation so that you can
  • register for appropriate courses during orientation.
  • develop a plan with your major advisor or academic support coordinator for completing the appropriate math in your first year at CSU.

  1. Have I completed at least one Mathematics (not Statistics) course at a college in Colorado with a grade of C- or higher?
